Citing sources familiar with the matter, CBS News reported that some members of the US military and intelligence agencies have cancelled their Memorial Day weekend plans. The move is believed to be linked to fears of possible new military action against Iran.

A separate report by Axios said Trump held a meeting on Friday with senior members of his national security team to discuss Iran. According to sources, Trump is seriously considering launching another strike if no last minute diplomatic progress is achieved.
