Massive ground offensive begins in Gaza

Occupying Israel has launched a massive ground offensive in Gaza, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Sunday (May 18).
The IDF said that as part of Operation Gideon Chariot, the sanding and reserve forces of our Southern Command have launched a massive ground offensive in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
The defense force said its air force had struck 670 Hamas targets in the past week, supporting ground attacks and countering Hamas counterattacks.Among them were various Hamas cells, tunnels and tank destruction sites. They also claimed to have destroyed dozens of Hamas members and several infrastructures so far. In addition, the occupation defense forces reported that they had captured important places in Gaza.
The Israeli military said the strikes would continue as needed to protect Israelis from illegal settlers, and the air force would assist in this.The Gaza Health Ministry said that all hospitals in northern Gaza have been closed due to Israeli attacks, causing injured people to die without receiving treatment.A Hamas official told Reuters that Israel's position remains unchanged. They want to release the hostages without promising to stop the fighting.
Hamas is holding talks with mediators in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to stop this Israeli brutality. Talks about a ceasefire were held there today.
