At least 12 people, including two children and a medical worker, have been killed in Israeli air and drone strikes in southern Lebanon. The attacks were carried out in several areas early Monday (September 7), Al Jazeera reported.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Kfar Rumman killed 11 people, including two children, and injured five others. A medical worker was also killed in a drone strike targeting a civilian vehicle in the same town.

According to the ministry, 27 people have been killed and 69 injured in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon over the past three days. The Israeli military said the attacks targeted Hezbollah facilities.
