Bangladesh strongly condemns reported drone attack targeting holy city of Makkah

Bangladesh has strongly condemned reports of a drone attack targeting the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The condemnation was expressed in a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (September 16).

Bangladesh reiterated its deep respect for Makkah Al-Mukarramah and other holy sites in Saudi Arabia and expressed solidarity with the Saudi government and people in protecting these sacred places.

Bangladesh stressed that the safety and security of holy sites must always be fully respected and ensured.
