Thunderstorms and rain expected in 11 regions

The Meteorological Office has forecast storms and rain in 11 regions of the country by the evening. The Meteorological Office gave this information in its weather forecast for the country's inland river ports from 9:45 am to 6 pm on Sunday (April 13).


The weather forecast states that rain/thunderstorm accompanied by gusty/stormy winds reaching 45-60 kmph from the west/northwest direction is likely to occur temporarily over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Khulna, Comilla, Rangpur, Bogra, Rajshahi, Jessore, Kushtia and Sylhet regions.
