Arrest warrant issued against Hasina-Rehana and Tulip

A court has issued arrest warrants against 18 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, Sheikh Rehana's daughter, and former British MP Tulip Rizwana Siddique, in a case filed by the ACC alleging corruption in the allocation of plots by RAJUK. On Sunday (April 13), the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib issued the arrest warrant after considering the charge sheet provided by the ACC. Aminul Islam, Assistant Director of the ACC Prosecution Department, confirmed this information to Mirror News in court. Earlier, last Thursday, the court issued arrest warrants against 18 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her daughter Saima Wazed Putul.
