Three killed in lightning strike in Netrakona's Khaliajuri

Three people were killed in a lightning strike in Rasulpur, Krishnapur and Hayatpur villages of Khaliajuri upazila in Netrokona.
The incident occurred around 5:30 pm on Tuesday (April 15) The deceased were identified as Nizam Uddin (32), son of Sambar Mia of Rasulpur village in the upazila, Kabir Mia (45), son of Ramzan Ali of Krishnapur village, and Rakhal Sarkar (66) of Hayatpur village.
A person named Ranu Mia (45) from Rasulpur village of the upazila was seriously injured in the incident. All the victims are farmers by profession.Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Ujjal Hossain confirmed the matter to Mirror News.
