506 people, including 165 Bangladeshis, arrested in Malaysia raid

About 506 illegal immigrants, including 165 Bangladeshis and from various countries, have been arrested. Malaysian Immigration Department.
The operation was carried out in a business area in Medan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday (March 17). A force of 185 immigration officers from various ranks from the Immigration Department headquarters and the Negeri Sembilan Immigration Department
This joint operation is being conducted with the support of other agencies such as the National Registration Department. Malaysian media outlet New Straits Times reported in a report that 165 of those detained were Bangladeshis, while 124 were from Nepal.
58 women were also arrested in the operation. However, none of the arrested women were Bangladeshi. The age of the arrested women is between 25 and 65 years.
