64 killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

At least 64 people were killed and many more injured in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip in the Palestinian territory from dawn to dusk on Friday (March 18), Al Jazeera reported, citing the Gaza Health Ministry.
The total number of deaths and injuries in the valley in the past one and a half years since Friday's operation has exceeded 51,000. The number of injured has also reached about 117,000. 56 percent of these deaths and injuries are women and children.
Most of those killed yesterday were residents of Gaza City and northern Gaza. However, the Israeli air force carried out extensive attacks yesterday in the central, northern and southern areas. Source: Al Jazeera.
