Will be the best election in Bangladesh's history: Chief Advisor

The upcoming elections will be the best elections in the history of Bangladesh, which will be considered a milestone in the country's democratic journey, said Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
He made these remarks when a delegation from the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) came to meet him at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday (April 19).Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus also said that the next national election will be free, fair and participatory.

The delegation included the organization's Executive Director Brija Rosales, Bangladesh Elections and Democracy Program Consultant May Butoy, Senior Program Officer Tharindu Aberatna, Program Officer Ayan Rahman Khan, and Program Associate Afsana Amei.ANFREL is an Asian election-based civil society organization that has been working for the past two decades to ensure fair elections, democratic reforms, and citizen engagement.
