Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan

A couple of years ago, Bangladesh whitewashed them in a Test match on Pakistani soil. This time, the Tigers whitewashed the Pakistani army at home. Before that, Bangladesh had lost five consecutive Test series against Pakistan. However, the Tigers have won all four consecutive Tests, which is the first time this has happened.

Pakistan needed 121 runs to win on the fifth and final day of the Sylhet Test, while Bangladesh needed 3 wickets. The two teams entered the field on the final day with such an equation. After an hour, Taijul Islam sent Sajid Khan back to the dressing room and broke a 54-run partnership with Rizwan. Shariful stopped Mohammad Rizwan, who was just 6 runs away from a century, on the first ball of the next over. In the end, the visitors were all out for 358 runs, and the Tigers won by 78 runs.
