Pakistan launches missile attacks on 15 cities in northern and western India

Pakistan fired missiles targeting military installations in 15 cities across India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Gujarat, overnight and early on Thursday. Pakistan launched these missile attacks targeting military installations in at least 15 cities.
India's ruling BJP government said it was not immediately known whether there were any casualties or damage in India in these attacks.The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Indian forces have retaliated to Pakistan's attempted attacks on military installations in Srinagar, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh and other places.
Pakistani air defense radars and other facilities were targeted in several places, including Lahore. The Indian military foiled attempts to launch missiles from several military installations in Pakistan.The Indian military claimed that a similar attack was carried out in Pakistan on Thursday morning in response to missiles and drones fired by Pakistan at various Indian cities.
According to a report by Indian media outlet NDTV, the Pakistani military used drones and missiles to launch attacks. However, the drones and missiles launched by Pakistan were neutralized by India's air defense system. Source: NDTV, AFP.
