Ahead of the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) election for the 2026–2028 term, the ATAB Democratic Front panel held a views-exchange meeting in Fakirapool, Paltan and Bijoynagar areas of the capital on Wednesday.
During the meeting, panel leaders outlined their election manifesto, pledging to address challenges in the travel industry, curb ticket syndicates, protect members’ interests, and modernize the association through technology-driven initiatives.

Chairman candidate A.S.M. Ibrahim, General Secretary candidate Shafiqullah Nantu, and other panel members sought the support of ATAB members. They also pledged to introduce group life and health insurance for members and their families, strengthen the ATAB Training Institute, and ensure a transparent and fair election process.
Voting for the ATAB election is scheduled to take place on July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
