Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that the ongoing conflict with the United States will come to an end only when Iran is in a favorable position on the battlefield. He added that negotiations could take place only after securing a strong military and strategic position.
Araghchi said that despite suffering some losses, Iran has established itself as a significant power on the international stage and demonstrated the resilience and capability of its state institutions.

He stated that a war can end in two ways—either through a complete military victory or through negotiations. However, he emphasized that the appropriate time for talks comes only after achieving reliable military and strategic success.
The Iranian foreign minister also noted that political leaders must always weigh whether continuing the war would bring greater gains or lead to more casualties and inflict further damage on the country.
