Protests Intensify in Delhi Despite Modi's Special Announcement

"There is nothing more important than the future of our youth. A decision has been made to establish fast-track courts to ensure the speedy trial of question paper leak cases."

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made this special announcement on X on Thursday (July 23).

However, despite the announcement, protests by students in India's capital, Delhi, over alleged examination paper leaks, along with demonstrations by opposition parties, have continued to intensify.

In his post on X, Modi said, "This is part of our ongoing efforts to protect the interests of students. Anyone who attempts to destroy the future of our youth will not be spared."

Within minutes of Modi's announcement, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, responded on X. He alleged that it was Modi who had done the most damage to the future of students.

Rahul Gandhi claimed that more than 150 examination paper leak incidents had occurred in India over the past ten years. However, he alleged that not a single person has been convicted in connection with those cases so far.
