Actress Rashmika Mandanna has suffered a serious injury while filming and has been advised to take complete rest for six weeks, according to Indian media reports.
The injury reportedly occurred during the shooting of the films Ranabali and Mysa. Rashmika was performing an action sequence involving intense physical activity when the accident took place.
Medical examinations revealed that a muscle between her hip and lower back had been completely torn. Doctors said such injuries are more commonly seen among professional athletes, making the incident particularly unusual for an actress.
Following the injury, doctors have recommended strict rest and rehabilitation. Rashmika is expected to return to work only after making a full recovery, forcing a temporary pause in her filming schedule.
The actress has been keeping busy with multiple projects after marrying actor Vijay Deverakonda earlier this year. She is currently working alongside him in Ranabali, marking another collaboration between the popular on-screen pair.
This is not the first time Rashmika has been injured during filming. She previously suffered a leg injury while shooting for Sikandar, in which she starred opposite Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
