India has no involvement or connection with the recent speech delivered by fugitive former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.
Speaking at a regular media briefing on Tuesday (August 4), Jaiswal said that the event was organized by a private media organization and had no association with the Government of India.

He further stated that any views expressed at the forum do not represent or reflect the position of the Indian government. The Ministry of External Affairs clarified that the event was entirely a private initiative and that the Government of India does not endorse the opinions expressed there.
