After calling Gen Z the ‘gutter generation’, Indian actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has now changed her tone, calling the younger generation the country’s ‘strength and asset’.
In a recent interview with Indian media, Kangana said, “Gen Z is the strength of our country and a huge asset to the nation. We are delighted to see our young people representing themselves as ambassadors of the country’s culture and identity.”
Earlier, Kangana had criticized a section of young protesters over their remarks during a demonstration involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She called Gen Z the ‘gutter generation’ and described some of their videos as ‘vomit-inducing’.
Her comments sparked widespread controversy on social media and in political circles.
