Iran Warns of Seizing US Bases Worldwide

Iran has warned that if the United States uses nuclear weapons, American military bases around the world could be seized. The warning came from Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, an adviser to the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC.

In an interview with the US television network PBS, Naqdi said using nuclear weapons could prove to be a major mistake for Washington. He claimed that the morning after such an attack, American military bases around the world would be taken over.

Naqdi said the current global situation is different from the period of World War II. According to him, people around the world are now more aware and would not allow such an act because they could become victims themselves in the future.

However, the Iranian general did not clarify whether Iran’s military would seize the US bases itself or do so with assistance from other forces.

Regarding Iran’s potential development of nuclear weapons, Naqdi said Iran does not need a nuclear bomb, describing the hearts of millions of people around the world as its real “nuclear bomb” in the fight against oppression.
