Drug Dealer Borsha Arrested with Yaba in Faridpur

A 23-year-old woman, identified as Meherunnesa Borsha alias Mehu, has been arrested with five yaba tablets in Faridpur city’s Guhalakshipur area.

The Department of Narcotics Control arrested her during an operation based on a tip-off at Kutibari Guhalakshipur on Sunday afternoon, August 16. Five methamphetamine-containing yaba tablets were recovered from her possession during a subsequent search.

Following her arrest, Borsha was produced before the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court in Faridpur. The court sentenced her to one year in prison and fined her Tk 1,000.
