Saudi Crown Prince Invites PM Tareque Rahman to Visit

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has invited Bangladesh Prime Minister Tareque Rahman to visit Saudi Arabia.

The invitation was formally conveyed on Monday, August 17, when Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Abdullah Zafar H. Bin Abiyah handed over the invitation letter to the prime minister during a courtesy meeting at the Secretariat.

The prime minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Shahadat Hossain Swadhin confirmed the matter, saying the invitation was extended on behalf of the Saudi Crown Prince. The date of the visit and other formalities will be decided later.
