Bangladesh, Qatar Discuss Expanding Jobs for Bangladeshi Workers

Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman held a meeting with Qatar’s Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Saeed bin Samikh Al Marri during his official visit to Doha.

The two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest, with a focus on labour cooperation, the welfare and protection of Bangladeshi workers, and expanding employment opportunities for Bangladeshis in Qatar.

Qatar’s Labour Minister praised the significant contribution of Bangladeshi workers to the country’s economy and development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the labour and manpower sectors.
