Three people were killed and three others injured after a CNG cylinder on a truck exploded while it was being refueled at a fuel station near Tikri Kalan Metro Station in Delhi on Wednesday (August 19).
All three victims were employees of the fuel station. One of them, identified as 25-year-old Manish, died at the scene. Two others later succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital.
According to Delhi Fire Service officials, the explosion was reported at around 3:37 p.m. Six fire tenders were sent to the scene. Police and emergency teams also reached the area and took precautionary measures.
The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been confirmed. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
