Amid ongoing conflict and growing security concerns in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan are set to sign a joint defense pact. The agreement is expected to be signed on Friday (August 7) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the three countries' top leaders.

According to Reuters, the move comes after lengthy discussions and has been accelerated by rising regional tensions. Two sources close to the Saudi government have also confirmed that the agreement will be signed in Jeddah. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are expected to attend the meeting.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir have already arrived in Saudi Arabia. Analysts believe the agreement could mark a significant step toward strengthening regional security and military cooperation in the Middle East.
